This Bowl Sander is powered by applying it's rotating sanding head to the stock at an angle to start it rotating. The advantage of the bowl sander is that the rotating head does not leave straight abrasive marks around the work like hand held sandpaper. Also it's adjustable 2" head can be positioned in hard to reach areas. Works with 2" hook and loop sand paper disc.
